NATtrol CMV Control Target: 10,000 cp – ml

NATtrol Cytomegalovirus (NATCMV-0001, NATCMV0002, NATCMV-0003, NATCMV-0004, and NATCMV-0005) is formulated with purified, intact virus particles that have been chemically modified to render them non-infectious and refrigerator stable. Each vial contains 1.0 mL of CMV NATtrol at target concentrations listed in Table 1. NATCMV is supplied in a purified protein matrix that mimics the composition of a true clinical specimen.

NATtrol Cytomegalovirus is designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for determination of the presence of CMV DNA. NATCMV can also be used for validation of clinical assays, development of diagnostic tests and training of laboratory personnel. NATCMV contains intact virus and should be run in a manner identical to that used for clinical specimens.
