NATtrol VZV Control Target: 10,000 cp – ml

NATtrol Varicella-Zoster Virus (NATVZV-0001, NATVZV0002, NATVZV-0003, NATVZV-0004, and NATVZV-0005) is formulated with purified, intact virus particles that have been chemically modified to render them non-infectious and refrigerator stable. Each vial contains 1.0 mL of VZV NATtrol at target concentrations listed in Table 1. NATVZV is supplied in a purified protein matrix that mimics the composition of a true clinical specimen.

NATtrol Varicella-Zoster Virus is designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for determination of the presence of VZV DNA. NATVZV can also be used for validation of clinical assays, development of diagnostic tests and training of laboratory personnel. NATVZV contains intact virus and should be run in a manner identical to that used for clinical specimens.
