Yellow Fever Virus (Strain: 1899/81)2 is an enveloped, icosahedral, non-segmented, single-stranded positivesense RNA virus from the Flaviviridae family, Flavivirus genus and the South America Genotype II phylogenetic group. Yellow Fever Virus (Strain: 1899/81)2 was collected from a human in 1981, at Cusco, Peru. Each frozen aliquot contains 1 mL of heat inactivated viral culture fluid.
