Zika Virus (Strain: PRVABC59) – CFHI

Zika Virus is an enveloped, icosahedral Flavivirus that contains a non-segmented, single-stranded positive-sense RNA. Zika Virus (Strain: PRVABC59) is propagated in the Vero cell line. This Zika virus was collected from a human serum specimen in December of 2015 from Puerto Rico; NCBI Accession No. KU501215. Heat inactivated culture fluids are sold in 1.0 mL aliquots, and shipped on dry ice. Each lot of viralculture fluid is assayed for its Tissue Culture Infective Dose (TCID50) before being heat inactivated. Custom orders are available , including specific volumes and package sizes.

Heat inactivated viral culture fluids are sold as consumable testing materials. The suitability and performance characteristics should be determined by your laboratory for each intended usage.
